Should your congressman's health insurance be paid by us for LIFE?

Doesn't the seem unfair to you? Even if he gets voted out?

I don't see how someone who serves four years or so in congress should get medical insurance for life at our expense when a military serviceman doesn't get that? After 4 years in the service if a man gets out of the military he doesn't continue to have health insurance

Yes it is unfair, and a breach of fiduciary duty. It is theft, misuse of official authority.

It causes the representatives to become distant and uncaring of the plight of the rest of us. It is mean, it is wrong, it is theft, it is abuse of office.

Who else is sick of those who claim and whine the congresspersons "could make more in the private sector"? Well, then, go and try! Go make more money -- we do NOT want such whiners in office.

We don't pay members of Congress nearly as much as they could make in the private sector; it makes sense to give them something to make up for the salary cut they have to take when they run for office.

Very unfair...time for term limits and no benefits...none! Vote all the old out and tar and feather them for the treasonous pigs they are!

No they should at some point have to pay for it as it just might get them to think before passing radical laws that will tax us.
