Should your congressman's health insurance be paid by us for LIFE? |
Doesn't the seem unfair to you? Even if he gets voted out? I don't see how someone who serves four years or so in congress should get medical insurance for life at our expense when a military serviceman doesn't get that? After 4 years in the service if a man gets out of the military he doesn't continue to have health insurance Yes it is unfair, and a breach of fiduciary duty. It is theft, misuse of official authority. Thank you! Report Abuse We don't pay members of Congress nearly as much as they could make in the private sector; it makes sense to give them something to make up for the salary cut they have to take when they run for office. Very unfair...time for term limits and no benefits...none! Vote all the old out and tar and feather them for the treasonous pigs they are! No they should at some point have to pay for it as it just might get them to think before passing radical laws that will tax us. Most of them make millions during their terms, hmmm, I wonder how? Yes they are crooked and should have to pay their own way just like Americans do. Yes, and I believe all Americans should be able to get the same health insurance that Congress enjoys. NO. Only through their term. Another fine example of how they disrespect us ARROGANT, DISMISSIVE even DERISIVE Americans Sure does. |
