How much is invisalgn with HMSA health insurance?

I want them but i want to see if i am somewhat covered?

The fee is the same with or without insurance.

1. Total cost varies from $4500 - $6000, depending on which practice you go to.

2. The monthly payment can vary from $300 - $500, again depending on :

a) How many visits per month (usually 2)

b) how much the total cost you have been quoted

c) how much money you pay upfront

d) how many years of treatment required

e) A total of how many visits are required to complete the treatment

3. All of the above mentioned apply for Invisalign. The cost can be around the same range or even a little higher because it does involve series of impressions and trays. That means a lot of labor, material, and lab fees.

4. The smart thing will be to get a consultation, get a quote and shop around.

However, you want to go to someone who knows what he / she is doing !!

5. Conventional braces are covered up to the age of 16 or 18, depending on the insurance policy. Invisalign is not because it is still considered an elective / cosmetic procedure that you can do without.

However, it shouldn't hurt to find out from the insurance company.
