Finding Health Insurance With Suspicious Lumps?

Under my old employer's health insurance plan, I saw a doctor for one problem and asked him in passing about several hard lumps beneath my skin. He told me they were brown fat deposits and not a problem unless they grew, multiplied or irritated me.

Fast forward three years and I no longer have the same job or medical insurance. I am noticing more of these lumps and a couple right below my sternum irritate me when I take a deep breath. There is a history of cancer in my family, so I am very concerned that I could be facing something serious.

Will I be able to find health insurance that covers the care of these lumps since I already have them? Does the fact that a physician has seen them in the past and diagnosed them have any bearing on my situation? I don't even know if it would appear in their records since the lumps were not the purpose of the visit.

I am a 29 year old self-employed male in otherwise good health. Serious help and information would be hugely appreciated.

My advice as a professional RFP(Registered Financial Planner) is get a medecal report on your condition and then apply to any of the Insurance companies for a health insurance plan.
