Can i used kaiser permanente health insurance in Illinois?
You will need to get a new plan when you get to Illinois. Kaiser is not available there. Contact an independent agent in your new town. This person is familiar with what companies do cover Illinois and can shop the market to find the best plan for you.
You can keep your Kaiser plan for a month or two while you are moving and if you need medical care you can get it. However, you will be out of network and will be paying a higher amount for your care.
