Can u help me find cheeper health insurance. I pay over 400 a month -existing problem, kidney removal-? |
$500 deductiable , healthy male 35 and have had my kidney removed several years ago. cheeper but still good would save my check book. I am the only one on the insurance According to Doctorndtv.com, "Persons with a single normal kidney can lead normal life. The time frame of the recovery would depend on the effect of the accident on other organs and the selection and other areas of the body. Patients whose one kidney is removed as part of the treatment or because of donation, return to normal activity within 2-3 weeks and can do all strenuous work. This has lead insurance companies to not charge an excess amount for people in this situation. Finding health insurance with pre-existing conditions takes patience. It is a good idea to check with a qualified insurance agent before purchasing a health insurance policy. Health policies can get very complex and can hidden coverages/non-coverages. Try going to http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref... This web site will allow you to compare prices and find the best price and coverage. It is free of charge and they even give you the option to speak to local agents if you have questions. Source(s): http://www.doctorndtv.com/faq/detailfaq.... Try contacting Kaiser Permanente. I know they have a less expensive plan for just 1 person on the policy. You can get everything here-including forms: http://www.kaiserpermanente.org/?engine=... Depends on what area you live in. Also a cheaper insurance doesn't mean better coverage and in the long run you may pay more. You had a nephrectomy so you probably get ct scans or mri every 6 months so you have to figure this in also. $500 deductible doesn't seem so expensive when you look at how much a ct scan cost. Just a suggestion. |
