I need help finding extremely inexpensive health insurance!?

I'm going down to Orlando, Florida for 8 months next year. While I'm down there my current health insurance, BCMH, won't be able to cover me for anything because they're an Ohio resident program. I'll still be a resident of Ohio, but I'll be living in Florida for the whole time, so from what I've been told Medicare won't cover me since I'm not a Fl. resident, and Ohio medicare won't approve me.
I'll be working full time, atleast 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $7.17/hr, I'll be paying a rent of at most $90 a week, and I'll still have to feed myself and gas up my car. I HAVE to get some kind of health insurance to pay for my medications and any emergency health care I might need, I have a back problem, and diabetes so the likelihood of needing medical care is high considering how long I'll be there.
I've already looked at Anthem and I can't afford them - not to mention I've had trouble understand their terms.
Can anyone suggest a company or program I'd be eligible for?

Look into (Medicare) Capital Health Plan in FL. (capitalhealth.com) for the best coverage in FL. Also look into commercial plans...Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, (harvardpilgrim.org) based in MA. They provide good HMO/POS healthcare. Consider mail order pharmacy with these or any other plan(s) that you might get for good Rx co-pays. Source(s): US News & World Report, Nov 6th, 2006
You can get short-term health insurance; however, I don't believe your pre-existing conditions will be covered.
I doubt "cheap" health care exists anymore, but try these for quotes

Good luck
gosh, I sure wish you luck. I've actually never heard of Medicare refusing to cover somebody who is on Medicare, just because they are going somewhere else in the country to live, either temporary or permanently. I was also under the impression that the BCMH was a Children with Medical Handicaps program. If that is correct, I'm taking it that you are under 18 to be still designated a "child", in which case wouldn't you be able to.... and in fact need to.....discuss your plans with your parents, or other caregivers?

To be absolutely honest, reading everything you say, I believe that your whole idea is probably very very unwise at this time. I would strongly recommend that you cancel this plan of yours. The risks are far too high, and you could well find yourself in a very difficult situation.
