If you are pregnant they can help you get state health care I believe there are free clinics in practically every city. Try checking with someone like Planned Parenthood. It depends on where to live, if he has an old or new practice, best to call and talk to the secretary about it. I have seen bills between $85-$200 for initial consults. If its a birth control/family planning issue, the most cost effective is to go somewhere like planned parenthood. If you think you may have something like cervical cancer, a breast lump or something like that, dont let money stop you, go see a doc and ask for a payment plan if necessary, or ask for info on a local free clinic, get medicaid if you qualify, but make sure you take care of your health. It can save your life.
