How come my coworker pays only 20 bucks per paycheck for the health insurance, and i need to pay 50 bucks?

does it matter how much u make? or does it matter the gender difference?

It could be alot of reason. Most likely its the coverage you choose.

IE:

You have coverage for you and family members, and he just has coverage for himself.

You choose coverage for additional areas like prescription, dental, ect that your coworker didn't choose.
do u habe dependents? make more an hour, or get different coverage?
Well you might have to pay more if you have downs syndrome. But they don't wanna hurt your feelings.
age difference and no of people in family
depends what coverage you got. and if it covers family members
You need to ask your HR department this....
It could be because your coworker selected a different tier of benefits, etc.
But I'll tell you, don't go in there and say "Munya pays 20$ for health ins and I pay 50 and I want to know why!", just say "someone said they pay 20 and I'm wondering if I can get that deal, too!" start it off that way.
Could be the plan you selected or what/who your plan covers.
