I live in Ma. Does anyone know where to look for cheap health insurance?

With insurance you get what you pay for. Your best bet would be to visit a local independent agent. This person knows the market in your area and can find a good policy for your situation.

Stay away from the medical discount scams. The people that sell these plans have little knowledge about the health care and insurance industries. They do not need a license or training to sell the plan and the plan doesn't need to be registered with the state department of insurance. This means you have no recourse when you have problems. If you are still tempted by these discount plans make sure to get a list of providers first before signing up. Call the doctors on the list to make sure they're still taking the plan (most will have never heard of the plan), that they're close to you and that they're accepting new patients.
