How can I get dental care for teeth ravaged by chemo-therapy drugs.....the health insurance won't pick it up

health insurance won't cover it and neither will medicaid for a 44 year old.

Do you live in a city or state with a dental school?..also why won't your medicaid cover it?..that doesn't make sense..is there a hospital that is the county hospital for you who offers a dental clinic?..and finally have you called around and spoken with any dentist about making arrangements for dental care because of your budget?..many dentist now have "credit or financial services which allow you to pay over time"..hope this helps
Here is a dental discount plan that I use. They will give discounts no matter what.

Good luck!

First, I would see if there is a free clinic or county health department that can help you. Dental health is increasingly being tied to overall health, so there may be public dental health initiatives that can assist you (links below). I would also contact your state insurance department or health and human services department to find out if there are any state-sponsored programs for people with low income apart from Medicaid (link below). Needy Meds is a great resource for people suffering from all kinds of health problems. They have listings for support programs and organizations by disease type and geographic area as well as links to discount drug programs (link below). Finally, if you still can鈥檛 find help, try contacting local health insurance agents. MostChoice.com is an excellent way to do this quickly and without any cost to you.

There are LOADS of charities that help with this stuff. I myself looked it up recently....

Also, try going through your local county health department. They usually do fees based on income. Plus there are loads of dental plans out there, that are discounted too:

Um okay I just realised you live in Canada. I think you can come to the States, though, and people will help you. Try these linked dentists in this site. Otherwise, I guess you could ask to go on a payment plan, or get a loan. Seems cheaper, though to try coming to the US for treatment.. See if this helps any:
