What can I get to treat my bone spurs in my knee, besides surgery because I don't have any health insurance.

I'm a CNA and I'm on my feet all day. I can't afford to quit my job and my health insurance doesn't come effective until January. I don't want surgery right now,is there anything that can help relieve the pain until my insurance is effective and I can afford to see a orthropedic surgeon. I don't want to lose my job by not being able to perform my duties. Does anybody out there have any subject to my problem. I'm just frustrated and tired of going to work and can't perform my duties without severe pain. Only serious answers please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The price of knee surgery is very low in India as compared to USA, UK and Canada. My cousin also got her hip replacement surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare .She is more than very happy with the results. She is totally pain free now. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as all joint surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by NHS in the UK. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
I feel for you..Off those feet as much as you can. Don't forget to RICE, rest, ice compression and elevate. If you are able, take a supplement of glucosomine/clondroitin to help lubricate the joints.. Perhaps you could trade some duties with others temporarily, like sitting and feeding patients. If you can take something like "Aleve" it really works good on arthritis like symtoms.
I would go to a county health care clinic or in southern california there is a clinic called Tzu Chi Free Clinic and has a sliding fee schedule. Most times you pay nothiing.
