Where can i find a women's clinic that i don't have to pay to much, i don't have health insurance? |
i need to see a doctor or nurse practition. like a 20 dollar charge. i'm new to the memphis, tn area. help please. usually ur county will have a free clinic There should be some clinics in the area - you can look them up in the local phone book - they're listed. It might cost more like $50, though. Good luck! Planned Parenthood is great for that. They use a sliding scale based on your income. Hi Kimmi, If it's ob/gyn related, I would recommend that you go to a Planned Parenthood clinic. This was the only one I found in TN: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/findcen... For other health situations, here's another link: http://www.tnpca.org/hcenters/hcmain.htm... - if you click on this (from the web page, it gives you a list of centers that offer visits on a sliding scale) TENNESSEE'S FEDERALLY FUNDED HEALTH CENTERS (click for listing) Normally the Health Department in your county offers a clinic. Otherwise, Planned Parenthood like the other person said. try to get on medicaid if you can. almost every doctor accepts medicaid. yes, look in the phone book for planned parenthood clinics. they are really good and only charge you a fee based on your income. |
