Does it make sense our Congress debateing flag burning and gay marriage,

12 million illegal immirgrants in America,

10 million children without health insurance,

Did we hit 4000 US soliders dead in Iraq yet?

Homeless problem, that gone away? Maybe from the headlines of newspapers and Time magazine, but not the streets.

Can Adam and Steve have their Kodak Moment so we can get on with the real business of government?

Quite. It shouldn't be an issue in the first place - if two adult people want to get married they should be able to do so, regardless of gender. There are far more important things in the world.
Here here!!! I second that..... Fundamentalists and the Government sure have their priorities screwed up.....
