Where can i find affordable health insurance?? |
I am turning 23 in feb. and i loose my dependant status because my parents are military so i need to find some health insurance. Well, depending on where you are located, I just saw something that might interest you. There鈥檚 a new company offering low cost individual health plans in Texas for young, reasonably healthy people who no longer are able to be covered under their parents鈥?plans. It鈥檚 actually pretty cool, and I鈥檓 surprised no one thought of it sooner. You buy into a plan at a super low cost with fixed benefits that will cover the typical activities and preventative care of a healthy person. Then, if something catastrophic happens, you have the option to get additional levels of coverage, even AFTER the event. You鈥檇 have to check it out for more details, but that was the gist. http://www.precedent.com - even if you鈥檙e not in Texas, my understanding is that they鈥檒l be offering plans in additional states soon.
