Can someone whos already pregnant get on health insurance?

I've been meaning to get health insurance but now i think im pregnant and im kicking myself because i didnt get it earlier. Will an insurance agent accept me if I tell him/her im already pregnant? And if omit that, will they ask my doctor, for proof that im not being fraudulent, when i conceived the baby?

If you get private insurance, your pregnancy will probably be excluded by a pre-existing condition clause. Your medical records will show that you have already been receiving care for this and any bills related to it will not be covered. When shopping for insurance, ask about a pre-existing condition clause and if there is anything you can do to be covered.
You can probably still get Medicaid.
