Kaiser Health Insurance?

Does Kaiser health insurance offer and cover prescription nicotine patches and gum for people trying to quit smoking? I can not afford them on my own and trying to quit cold turkey has not been effective for me or my husband. Thanks!

i don't know of any insurance that covers that, and its a shame. Instead of covering it and spending the $ on it the insurance companies will have to dish out money for cancer treatments later in life. I quit smoking about a year and a half ago - just decided one day that was enough but its not that easy for everyone. Could you try cutting back one cig every other day and then holding on to the one cig every day for a month or so..... then hopefully your body will be adjusted and you can say good bye to the smoking for good? BTW, i quit both times i was pregnant too - had absolutely NO craving for it while i was pregnant. Good luck, i know it can be really hard to quit.
