How can i get health insurance when my job doesn't provide it?

I love my job, but they don't provide health insurance. What kind of insurance is available for me?

Go ask your auto or house agent for a quote for a private health insurance policy. If they can't do it, ask them for a referral to someone who can. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
Find an independent insurance agent.
They will be able to go over all your options.
I bought my insurance online . I pay Blue Cross $359 per month for my family of 6 . The website I used has good rates with many choices .

Try chinking down an emergency fund for yourself that you have immediate access to. Insurance companies are a scam and charge high premiums with no guarantee of payment and carry high deductibles. My husband paid over $800 a month with Blue Cross for medical insurance we could not afford to go to the doctor because the deductible was so high. If we had all off that money in a personal account we would have had enough to cover any emergency.
