Is it possible to have a cholecystectomy if you have a rheumatic heart disease? What are the chances? |
My brother in the philippines has a rheumatic heart disease for 2 years and the doctors just found recently that he has cholecystitis, Im just worried because the doctors doesnt want to remove the gallbladder. It would all depend upon the condition of your brother's heart at the time of his surgery. His surgeons would have to make the decision on the grounds of whether his heart would be able to endure the stress of major surgery. I feel for you it is a hard thing to go through for everybody involved. |
