Has anyone read that preeclampsia may be linked to future heart disease?

I was doing research and came across studies that are linking pre eclampsia with increasing your risks for heart disease. Just wondering if anyones had any lasting medical effects from pre eclampsia.

I had elcampsia in 2nd pregnancy and pre eclampsia in 3rd so i hope its not so much true

when I was in nursing school this was mentioned in our OB studies. As for lasting effects or not I am not sure, I have yet to meet anybody that links their heart disease to having preeclampsia.
