Can education prevent coronary Heart Disease?

Can education prevent coronary Heart Disease?

we i try and educate my kid about diet and exercise as we have a history of it. that way even before school starts he knows what is good for him- we have a history of this condition in our family. so education how ever old or young is best in a preventative measure

education about the courses of CHD will never prevent it from ever happening, however it is an important measure in lowering the prevalence of the disease. As teaching people about the effects of an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise and what they can do about it will (if they follow the advise) lower the risk factors for getting CHD.

Only if the "educated" person follows the guidelines they learned. Genetics can't be overcome, but bad lifestyle choices can be changed to have a healthier heart. Proper diet and exercise are the keys, but only if you do them rather than just knowing about them.
