I need some information about peritoneal disease and i found someting at http://ischemic-heart-disease.uv.ro... If you know a site about this teme please tell me
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/peritoneum... - I would check out this website. the word peritoneal is derived from peritoneum. This is a lining of sorts rich with blood vessels. The Peritoneum is the casing that encloses the lower abdominal organs. Disease of the peritoneum would be very bad indeed and can invovled the liver, bladder, kidneys and intestines. Typically a type of disease of the peritoneal would be cancer or a disease of the blood vessles that bring nutrients to the lower abdominal area that could lead to a very serious problem. I hope this helped.. Ischemic heart disease is synonomous with "coronary artery disease". "Ischemia" means "lack of blood flow". Lack of blood flow to the heart is caused by plaque deposition in the coronary arteries. The risk factors are: age, diabetes, hypertension, smoking, family history and high cholesterol. More information at American Heart Association or American diabetes association websites.
