Who discovered heart disease? Heart Disease was mainly discovered during WW2. When the military autopsied a bunch of dead soldiers. They found that ateriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) was occuring in younger men than previously thought. That launched more research. Many different doctors discovered different aspects of heart disease or first explained how certainly bodily functions/malfunctions contributed to heart disease. |
