Wha are signs of heart disease??

I have been experiencing some tightness around the chest area, and my left arm and shoulder has been hurting alot. Are these signs?? I eat healthy and exercise daily. Could this just be stress?? My hair has also been falling out alot lately.

What you have described are not symptoms of cardiac disease or heart attack for either a male or a female. Female symptoms differ from those for a male. It could be stress. Has anything unusual been going on your life over the past 12 months? Any major changes? To rule out any organic causes see your health care provider for a physical just to be on the safe side. I went through a similar experience, and since heart disease runs in my family, I was very scared. The doctor checked it and I am fine. But yes, the tightness and pain are definite signs of a problem. Go see the doctor as soon as possible.
Go see your doctor. It could save your life. Tightness in your chest, pain in your left arm, and back of your neck and shoulders, shortness of breath, high pulse rate. The next time it happens stop for a minute and check your pulse. First find your pulse and then watch the clock for 10 seconds and count your pulse. Then multiply by 6. If you were just walking or not under heavy activity your pulse should not be over 85. If it is go get checked. Go get checked anyway. It is nothing to mess around with.
I had a heart attack in March of 2002 and basically died. I had to go through angioplasti twice that year. It is no fun. Don't take a chance with it man. It's not worth it. Just because you excercise it doesn't mean that you can't still have one. I was only 44 when it almost got me. I'm 51 now, but I still have a problem with my cholesterol. My blood pressure and diabetes are under control now, but if your cholesterol is up, just take my word for it. It can be deadly. No one can do it for you. For your own sake, go to the doctor and get tested. Write back in here and let us know what you find out, k.
Yes it could be as you already know ,also pain in the jaw could be . call your doctor and get it checked out .better safe then sorry .every one has it a little differently and anyone that ruled it out with out checking you out is a phony .
