There are many types of heart disease so there is no simple answer to your question. In general heart disease does not produce symptoms at all until the disease is well established. Hypertension for instance is referred to as a silent killer. Narrowing of the arteries produces no symptoms until a heart attack occurs. Typical symptoms of 'poor circulation' include chest pain and shortness of breath but these symptoms do not occur until near occlusion of an artery is present. |
