What are the symptoms of heart disease in women?

The symptoms of heart disease in women are the same symptoms as in men - chest pain or tightness, shortness of breath especially on walking or lying flat in bed, dizziness, palpitations, irregular heart beat, etc, etc. Many of these symptoms may also be due to other disease (such as heartburn which can mimic chest pain/tightness) rather than heart disease, so it is not easy to self-diagnose yourself. See a doctor if you are worried.
Irregular heart beat or dizziness when you exercise are two symptoms, but there are more.
Heart disease(s) present themselves in several ways with some of the classic symptoms mentioned above from the first two who answered. Heart attacks can present themselves much differently in women than men and sadly women die because they....and the men in their lives do not know this. A woman's heart attack may show up in a completely different manner making a person think that her pain is something else. Women having a heart attack may experience abdominal pain or mid-back pain, indigestion or extreme fatique. True, her pain may be classic pain symptoms, but the other symptoms are just as apt to occur. When a woman...or a man for that matter, arrives in the ER with abdominal pain...an EKG is done to rule out an M.I.
