My wife who as heart disease is always tired and always wants to sleep is this normal?

Yes my wife was the same for quite a while before she died,bless her,it is a symptom of the disease. the heart does not get enough oxygenated blood to maintain any form of activity and the tiredness is the result.Certain drugs can improve the arterial flow to the heart and oxygen therapy can help but the patient will still be severely restricted.

If your ticker ain't working properly you would be tired. I feel like that at my time of the month so can imagine how it feels. Buy her some flowers to cheer her up. x
Yes, the blood supply is not giving her sufficient oxygen. Go to the doctor and explain the problem there will be something to help.

Your heart is what pumps your blood to your body and if you have a heart disease then your heart is sick. what happens when you have a cold or the flu? you want to sleep b/c your body has to recharge and get energy. well her heart is sick so it needs to constantly rest from the strain put on it.
Yeah - I have Neurocardiogenic Syncope and this leaves me tired all the time. Best thing is to make her comfy on the sofa and wait on her hand and foot....honest
It is not clear when you say 'heart disease'. And if she is 'always' tired and sleeping, why don't you visit and ask a cardiologist?
