My baby has a Congenital Heart disease . Is this covered under Mediclaim in India?


My 6 month old kid is diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect which basically means a hole in the upper chamber of the heart. The hole is 8.5mm in size. Does this kind of defect get covered in Mediclaim in India.

i am very sorry tohear about your baby....i dont know if your baby is coverd or not ......but all children should be coverd free .
As for as any congenital dieseas ic concerned no body is coverd by any compny.
Simple rule....u r not coverd for any pre existing disorder by any insurence company.
