My newborn was diagnosed with congenital heart disease?


his condition is tetralogy of fallet he has to have open heart surgery at 6 mths old im looking for other parents whos child has this disease i need support

My daughter is going through the same thing as we speak. She is 6 months old. They have been trying to push the open heart off til she is one. We went back this last Friday and her symptoms have got worst. They are talking surgery in the next month. I will be glad to answer any questions that you may have that I can.

it is called TETRALOGY OF FALLOT (pronounced as falo).
there is a hole in your child's heart and it needs to be closed. as soon as the procedure is done, the cyanosis (bluish color) of
your child will still be there but it will be lessen as the days pass.
frequent cardio check-up will be necessary after the open heart surgery
