Where I can find about PGE1 in congenital heart disease and syanotic disease? |
I want know about function of prostaglandin E1 in syanotic disease in infant and childhod You can do a search, but do so with the correct spellings. Its spelled 'cyanotic' not 'syanotic'. Look up 'ductus arteriosus' in a text or site on embryology. In general, as the baby is born, the ductus arteriosis which is a blood vessel by the heart that is crucial in prepartum fetal circulation, starts to close, converting circulation to its postpartum norm. Prostaglandins will affect the smooth muscles that are involved in constricting that vessel. Depending on the specific disease the ductus arteriosus may need to remain patent. PGE1 is invovled in that. |
