If you are capable of working try to find something you like to do.There are all sorts of things that could help you contribute to the world and not just stay at home waiting for your check.

People who work even for a small wage have more friends, more confidence, more money and live longer.

Please don't try to be yet another leach on society. There are people out there with artificial legs running marathons, people with Down's Syndrome bagging groceries, and blind people teaching college. If you want a better life set your mind to it and you can find a way.

Rise above it friend! Source(s): My son is type 1 diabetic with kidney disease, he has SP syndrome and is attending college. (He would never dream of going on disability.)
only disabled in your own mind and believe me i am speaking from experience having same problems
How much more disabled do you have to be, to be classified disabled?
yes
To the point where they shouldn't breed, yes. They have a bunch of crappy genes which they should not pass on.
Diabetes is not a disability unless you have lost sight kidney function have heart damage or a limb as per the social security office. Bipolar is also in the same place if it can be controlled by medication and treatment. Heart disease depends on the extent, if you have a heart functioning at 50% you may be disabled. Your doctor is who you need to ask because they have to testify in paperwork you are disabled and they determine it. You can have all three problems and live a normal productive life. You may suffer from manic or depressive episodes but usually you can hold a job and function normally. Did you take Zyprexa? It is a known link to triggering diabetes. Big law suit going on.
