For those people who have had a heart attack or who have heart disease...did? |
you have symptoms beforehand? If so, how did they feel? (curious - a heart attack is my biggest fear) I had shoulder pain when I went to bed. It lasted for about fifteen minutes. I was active without pain. I thought it was a rotater cuff problem I think any recurring pain that lasts for awhile in the upper part of your body should be checked out my grandad has said that a tight chested feeling occurs but not 2 worry straight away as that could mean anything The main symptom from a heart attack is chest pain which persists for longer than 15 minutes. The pain is usually a severe, persistent dull aching pain in the centre of the chest. It is often crushing or feels like a weight on the chest. It is not sharp and stabbing. It may spread to the left arm, jaw or throat and does not go away with rest. The patient commonly feels sick and short of breath. Most patients become very sweaty, clammy to the touch and frightened. It is common to feel weak and light headed. i think you should ask a doctor and stop worrying. don't panic people, the last thing we want is panic. my dad had a massive heart attack but his only symptoms were feeling unwell and pins and needles running down his arm. |
