What's are the chances of a baby with congenital heart disease to survive?

Your question is as vague as asking "What are the chances of me coming back home after I leave for office in the morning?". There are atleast 50 different type of congenital heart diseases. Each of them carry different prognosis. If you are lucky, you may have simple CHD like Atrial Septal Defect, which has got the best prognosis. If you are unlucky, you may have Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which is almost always fatal.'
So, it really depends on the type pf CHD.
There are several kinds of Cyanotic and Non-cyanotic congenital heart diseases. Some defects are to be corrected by different stages of surgery. The survival can be predicted only after knowing the existing heart defect and the severity of the condition. Consult the Cardiologist (Pediatrics).

If the leak is severe, the tricuspid valve can be treated surgically either by repair or replacement. See www.americanheart.org. for good information on this condition.

It is imperative the infant be seen by a cardiologist and that you seek treatment. If the valve abnormality is especially severe, the infant will have decreased stamina, fatigue, cyanosis, and sometimes fluid retention.
