I'm told that the biggest cause of death in the UK is heart disease.? |
However there is another. And anyone who has ever been a patient or had a relative as a patient in a British hospital might say that the biggest cause of death in the UK is "death by doctor !" Anyone else believe this? I certainly do. I believe the biggest cause of death is heart diseases. Other than that should be AIDS. Doctor will only cause death by mercy killing. Its either that, or you choose a wrong lousy hospital No, that's nonsense I agree. My father had gangrene in his leg and was having difficuilty breathing. He went into the doctor's several times and they just gave him paracetamol and fobbed him off.My mum ended up calling a doctor but his usual doctor was "too busy" and sent a locum doctor out who could hardly speak any english and once again prescirbed painkillers. Eventually my mum called an ambulance and he was taken in to the hospital on the Friday night. By Saturday afternoon he was in intensive care and by Monday evening he was dead. I was appalled at the way the doctor's would not recognise the fact that my father was in serious danger and did not admit him to hospital straight away. If they were doing their job's properly maybe he would be alive today. I am not saying that all doctor's are bad at their jobs, the doctor's who took care of him whilst he was in hospital worked very hard to save him and make him comfortable and the nurses were like angels. However I do think that local GPs need to get their act together though. Not at all. Shipman is out of the equation now and the eyes are always open for any copycat. Doctors are not infallible and you will see oversights on occasions. Unfortunately, patients die but there are 'watchmen' in the form of The General Medical Council who are very able to deal with any malpractice or error. I know, because a friend of mine was accused, had to appear in London for three days before the GMC but the case was thrown out due to the complainant having a grudge against the Doctor that was invalid. There is one cause of death. The anger of Jesus. If you, by thought or deed, anger Jesus then he kills you. If he uses a doctor to kill you then so be it. But credit where credit is due the awesome power of Jesus is the No.1 killer in the UK and the world. Praise him (or die by his holy rays) heart disease is one of the biggest killers im afraid, up there with cancer......... my mum died aged 50 with heart disease and my dad got it and has had it for the last 10 years, so what does that say for me eh ???????? im petrified being british i have to disagree, every time i have been in hospital i have been very pleased with the treatment received, these days there are scares about mrsa etc, but these things arent common, its just that u hear about the cases of it coz they put it on the news 1000000 times a day haha i LOVE the nhs lol..... its served me and my family well :) |
