I am very thin, but i eat fastfood everyday. Am i at risk for heart disease??? |
I work out though I lift weights and do crunches, and rarely jog Yes, try to cut down on your fast-food intake over time and substitute with foods that God put on the earth. Click here for a good example of what to eat: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/p... You also need to add an aerobic routine to your workouts and review your resistance training routine periodically to see if you are doing the exercises correctly and getting the results you want. Get "Muscle and Fitness" magazine or "Weight Training for Dummies" to see if you are working out correctly with weights and to get some ideas on new routines so you don't get bored. Remember, diet and exercise is best for lasting weight loss. It doesn't matter how much weight training you do, fast food is bad for your heart (and the rest of your body). Yes, you are. Just because you are thin does not mean that you do not have to eat just a healthy as other people. That is just *terrible* for you to eat fast food every day. Stop it! No matter how fit or thin you are it is a really bad idea to eat fast food EVERY day. It is dangerous for your cholesterol. yeah u might be, u should start eating healthy yup yup. cholesterol is the factor, too much fat content and saturated fats, size has no effect on heart disease, except the bigger one is the higher percentage of fat cells! just eat less fried fatty foods Yes, you are. Thin people have heart disease, caused by narrowing of the arteries due to cholestoral build up. The exercise is great - the diet is just plain foolish - kind of like putting on a blindfold to cross the highway! Fast food is full of Trans fat - deadly, deadly, deadly - especially if you have more than a mere 3 grams in a whole week! |
