Will hepatitis's strains be noticed through blood tests for kidney and liver functions? |
Will hepatitis's strains be noticed through blood tests for kidney and liver functions? NO ,thats a seperate test ,LIVER AND RENAL FUNCTION TESTS are for enzymes and activity of function they dont include viral and infectious screening Yes...because hepatitis affects the liver... no, typical liver function tests/ kidney tests are BUN, Creatinine, AST, ALT, Ammonia, amylase, and lipase. You can google those individually, but those test are looking for the amount of crap in your blood that your organs are supposed to get rid of, so if they're failing you'd see high levels of those in your blood. hepatitis will no doubt cause major health issues, ask your doctor to add that test to your blood draws, if its too late, you'll have to get blood drawn again, either way if there is any question you might have hepatitis get tested earlier treatment and monitoring will make your life much better...trust me. Normally blood tests of the liver always include a hepatitis test...as standard. But to be sure...ask. It truly does depend on the country you are living in. |
