Hepatitis b or hepatitis c? |
witch of the hepatitis viruses are the worst to have? Usually Hep C (HCV) because most people (85%) who get it go on to have chronic lifelong infection unless they are successfully treated. Conversely, most people who get Hep B (HBV) clear it through their own body's immune response (85% or so). However, for the few who do have HBV as a chronic illness, it also can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer, and/or the need for transplantation. There is a vaccine for HBV, but none for HCV. Hope this helps. Best wishes. B both. use condom |
