Is hepatitis-B curable?

It is urgent?

When you first get exposed to Hepatitis B, it's called "accute". If the infection persists for more than 6 months, that's a "chronic" infection.

However, some people are able to clear the infection within those first 6 months and develop immunity. So if they get exposed to Hep B in the future, they won't catch it again.

A chronic infection can be dormant or active. When it is active it can be transmitted to others and it damages the liver.

The goal of treatment is to get the infection to a dormant, inactive state, not to "cure it".

Yes, it is curable. (70-90% of patient wit hep B were cured--> note : I forgot the exact amount of percentage, but it is around that number). About urgency, if u mean it is life threatening right now right this minute, then NO. But, if u keep postponing treating it, your liver infection will get worse, n it will develop into liver cancer ( and the 5 years survival rate of patient with liver cancer is pretty slim). But don't worry, go to a doc ASAP before it gets worse, ok? Be optimistic.
Hope it helps.Take care ok

no, it is NOT curable.
once you have it, you must TAKE CARE of your body and others. i mean, it is very contagious (if it is in infectious stage), but you can keep yourself from being an epidemic by avoiding your wounds being contact with others (your blood will spread it). chances of being a hepa B patient is that you may have liver cancer (if not given an immediate action) and the like.

It is curable. Hep. C is not. It is urgent. Very urgent.

NO It's NOT curable! Though the symptoms can be relieved through proper treatment
