Is hepatitis-B curable? |
It is urgent? When you first get exposed to Hepatitis B, it's called "accute". If the infection persists for more than 6 months, that's a "chronic" infection. Yes, it is curable. (70-90% of patient wit hep B were cured--> note : I forgot the exact amount of percentage, but it is around that number). About urgency, if u mean it is life threatening right now right this minute, then NO. But, if u keep postponing treating it, your liver infection will get worse, n it will develop into liver cancer ( and the 5 years survival rate of patient with liver cancer is pretty slim). But don't worry, go to a doc ASAP before it gets worse, ok? Be optimistic. no, it is NOT curable. It is curable. Hep. C is not. It is urgent. Very urgent. NO It's NOT curable! Though the symptoms can be relieved through proper treatment |
