Does a person who got the hepatitis B can get also hepatitis C? |
if a person have hepatitis B, does this person will also get hepatitis C? Yes, a person can be co-infected with more than one kind of hepatitis. Exposure to one type of hepatitis does not protect you from another type. They are separate, different viruses. The only reason they are both called hepatitis is because they both affect the liver.
