If I tested positive for Hepatitis B while pregnant, what do I need to do after the baby is born? |
I am just realizing that nothing has been done about this, for myself or my baby. Do we need to be retested? Do I need treatment? And why would I have tested positive during this pregnancy, but not the previous two pregnancies? WAIT, Before you answer, I mean that I had group B, whatever that is! not Hepatitis B. Hepatitis B is contracted through sex or blood contamination, so either you weren't tested during the last two pregnancies or you have contracted it since. You doctor should give you some information on this. |
