Hepatitis A, B, C.. Can you get it from sharing cups and drinks?


Anybody know if you can get hepatitis A, B, and C from sharing cups and drinks with carriers?

No, you won't get it from sharing cups and drinks. You do not get hep C from sexual intercourse except in very rare conditions. My husband has had hep c for over 40 years and I still don't have it. Hep C is transmitted by blood to blood.
Hep B is the one you can get from bodily fluids (sex) and also blood to blood contact
Hep A is passed from not washing the hands after coming into contact with contaminated food or water or feces. Food workers often pass this type of hep. It can also be transmitted by eating partially cooked shell fish and from the baby changing tables that are in many stores....

you get sharing cups

Hep C is spread by direct contact with infected blood (sharing needles for drug use, sharing razors, sharing toothbrushes), but is rarely spread by sexual intercourse. Hep C is not spread by sharing cups and drinks.

Yes you can get Hepititas A, and b from drinks but you can only get Hepititas c from sexual intercourse
