What are the chances I will get Hepatitis A in China? |
I have not been vaccinated but am leaving in a week to go to China. Not to worry over this during your tour......just concentrate on your holiday and be careful of the food you take. Do you know what is Hepatitis A & B? It is lever sickness cause by seafood contamination usually. Read a little more on it at Wikipedia and avoid the problem area. I've been to China twice, never got the shots and didn't get sick. Don't drink the water, don't eat in the back alleys and you should be fine. Be careful it is found in foods containing "fan" or "mian" Chances are 21% as you have not left yet. You may still get it in US, even if you decides not to go. |
