Would like to know what kind of Hepatitis i had? |
I want to know if there is any way to find out what kind of Hepatitis someone had when there were little? When i was about maybe 5 or 6years old when i had Hep. but i am not sure what kind it was. All i remember i was always tired, my skin was yellow, if i ran or jumped my stomach would hurt..... oh and all this was when i used to live in Mexico ( that's where i am from). Now i am almost 26year old and i would like to know find out what kind i had. If Hep. damages my liver at all or what? If you haven't had any symptoms or chronic liver problems you must likely had Hepatitis A. It is passed through the fecal-oral route especially in young children. It can cause the acute symptoms such as yellow skin, light tarry stools, dark urine, right upper quadrant pain, and raised liver function tests. It goes away and is self-limiting and you have no further complications |
