How can hepatitis be passed on, i aint got it by the way.? hep a-through contaminated foods with fecal matter hep b through bodily fluid contact, usually seen in high risk patients....sexual intercourse, sharing drugs hep c- through blood to blood transmission only. hcv corpuscles, found in vaginal fluid, semen and other bodily fluids are not transmittable. hep d-you can only have this type if you have hepatitis b hep e-rare in the united states Source(s): good luck There are several types of Hepatitis, they are all passed on in different ways. What type of hepatitis exactly are you asking? There are several types, you know, and each one has their own method of transmission... There's tons of info on the net, very much depends on which type of hepatitis you mean. Try wikipedia. I think, Hep A (infectious) can be passed on easily just like a virus. Hep B( serum) through body fluids, blood semen etc Hep C apparently only through blood, like sharing needles and I am not sure about the others, Hepatitis B is passed on through the blood, as is hepatitis C.Hep B can also be transferred by using dirty/used needles for injecting oneself. Saliva and breast milk are fairly gray areas and it's not yet totally sure if it can be passed through them or not. As far as I know hepatitis A can be passed on in poor sanitary conditions and through contaminated water but don't quote me on that. |
