A man suffering from hepatitis can have physical relation with his wife?

my uncle is suffering from hepatitis.now if he sleeps with his wife ..does it effect his wife ..does it harmful for her.

It depends on the type of Hepatitis he has. I personally have type A and can tell you that it is not sexually transmittable. After the initial contagious stage it is only transmitted through blood. This, unfortunately, prevents me from being a donor. I believe but am not sure that type B is also only transmitted by blood. However, if he has type C that is definitely transmittable by semen and he should consult with his doctor as to what the best precautions are to prevent inflicting his wife. Although I am sure that there will always be at least some slight risk even with safe sex.
