If a person has hepatitis C and there a heroin addict how long would it take until they are effected?

what are the effects on a person with Hep. C and also who has been using Heroin for years. what is there life expectancy?

there is no straight answer it depends on each person but it will cause there liver to deteriorate slowly i know someone in that situation now they have had hep c for years and has also had a major heroin addiction for over ten years and so far shows no sign of hep c
The affects of hepatitis c are as follows #1: you will become jaundice in the eyes and skin #2: you will eventually become tired for no reason and so you need to keep up on excercise eating right and taking vitamins. #3 you can give to people by blood contact and sexual encounters. #4 the best thing to do is make sure you stay away from drugs, alcohol(it is a disease of the liver), cigarettes, soda pop, and ecspecially Ibuprofen do not take this medication if u have hep c and make sure you talk to your doctor about all medications you are on to look for any that have reactions with a damaged liver. #5 you r not alone there is a cure however it is expensive consists of 365 days of shots and pills that will make u feel like u have the flu 24/7 your life expectancy is great if u make the necesary changes
