Which one is harmful ..hepatitis A,B,or C ? C will end up killing you. B will end up killing you. A can be cured. define harmful man, cus all 3 are deadly A, B and C. I'm a nurse. there 5 types of hepatitis... here is some info on the ones you asked: I went ahead and added the other 2... Hepatitis A: is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV). Hepatitis A can affect anyone. In the United States, hepatitis A can occur in situations ranging from isolated cases of disease to widespread epidemics. Hepatitis B: is a serious disease caused by a virus that attacks the liver. The virus, which is called hepatitis B virus (HBV), can cause lifelong infection, cirrhosis (scarring) of the liver, liver cancer, liver failure, and death. Hepatitis C: is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV), which is found in the blood of persons who have the disease. HCV is spread by contact with the blood of an infected person. Hepatitis D: is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis D virus (HDV), a defective virus that needs the hepatitis B virus to exist. Hepatitis D virus (HDV) is found in the blood of persons infected with the virus. Hepatitis E: is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis E virus (HEV) transmitted in much the same way as hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis E, however, does not occur often in the United States. HEPATITIS C IS THE WORST OF THE THREE. THERE IS NO "CURE" FOR IT BUT THERE IS TREATMENT WITH MEDS. YOU CAN LOOK IT UP ON WEB MD. All of them. A & B are usually curable though, but C is not curable. They all affect your liver. You can be immunized from a and b. And there a few other types of hepatitus too. C is usually from contact with body fluids or sexual contact with someone else that has it. You can also get A and B from body fluids, but many times you can also get it from unclean situation, like a fast food worker who doesn't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. |
