Do i need vaccination for hepatitis b if i am 29 years old?

i heard that it is not common for adult to become hepatitis b carriers. most of us will recover from the sickness and build up our immunity naturally. so do we need vaccination then?

Chronicity rate in an infant- 90%. In an adult- 10%. Hep. B can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. When protection is available, why take a chance, however slight?
Only if you work in the medical field, food services or with children. If your insurance company will cover it, it cannot hurt to have get it.
it depends. are you travelling to a foreign country where it is possible you could get the disease? if so it is a good idea, because your body may not be immune to it, and you could end up spreading it.
It depends. If you are around an area where there is a possibility of contracting - such as working in a hospital - then it is a good idea.
You said it.. It is not common to be a Hep B carrier. Yes there are some people who are Hep B carriers. You can always go to your Dr. request a hepatitis panel which will check for for the 3 types of hepatitis that you hear most about Hep A, Hep B, and Hep C. You will usually recover from Hep A, not always B and there is no current vaccine for Hep c.
