Can you gain weight with hepatitis A?


I heard that if you have hepatitis A you can lose weight....but can you also gain weight or just retain more fluids? Also can the weight gain be due to the fact that you are not digesting your foods properly? Real answers please.

Weight loss is one of the symptoms of Hepatitis A. Consult your doctor for proper diet and medication if you want to gain weight.
