Source(s): I am a Homeopath. yes not c though Nope if U have it you'll be on meds for the rest of your life a friend of mine has it and is under a doctors care she must see him once a week sometimes she's in the hospital alot No. There are a different treatments for it though, here is a link so you can learn more about them http://www.hepb.org/ There is no cure for hepatitis B, there are only treatments. Antiviral medication may be used for long-term (chronic) HBV infection if the virus is multiplying or liver damage exists or may develop. However, antiviral therapy is not recommended for everyone who has chronic hepatitis B viral infection. It is an option for people who have or appear likely to develop liver damage such as cirrhosis. Antiviral therapy does not help if you already have severe liver damage. Types B can lead to cirrhosis (scarring of the liver) and liver cancer if not treated. http://health.yahoo.com/ency/healthwise/... |
