Should you be tested for Hepatitis C?

Most people infected with the virus don't even know it. If you might be one of the many people who have Hepatitis C and aren't even aware of it here are the risk groups. I urge you to talk with your doctor.
1.) Used IV drugs, even if only once!
2.)Received a blood transfusion or organ transplant before July 1992.
3.)Received blood clotting products before 1987
4.)Received a blood transfusion and was later notified that the donor tested positive for Hepatitis C.
5.)Received or are currently receiving Kidney Dialysis.
6.)Work in a heathlcare setting and were stuck or splashed in the face with blood or body fluids.
7.)Were born to a woman who had or has Hepatitis C.
8.)Received abnormal results from live enzyme tests.
9.)Suspect inoculation or tattoo with an unsterilized needle!

If you have one or more of these risk factors talk with your doctor.

that is very interesting and usefull information and would normally concern me if i had not already had a test done in the recent months due to elevated liver enzymes, i also had a blood transfusion at birth . before 1979 . thanks
